How Gen Z consumers and the ‘trust economy’ are changing the mall experience
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong presided the function, presenting the Champion of Good grants, whilst Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Sector Low Yen Ling provided the Business of Good– 3 Hearts awards.
On the other hand, 63 companies were given the Champion of Good honor– the top tier of the recognition system– consisting of Kuok (Singapore), Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management, Mapletree Investments and TS Group.
The statement was made at NVPC’s Business of Good Conference and Conferment held on July 20 at Fairmont Singapore, which in turn saw almost 700 business heads gathered up.
“As we look ahead, NVPC will concentrate on strengthening the community of Companies of Good and enabling organisations to gain from one another, collaborate throughout companies and sectors and produce effect together,” includes Soh.
A total of 481 services were recognised as Business of Good by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) this year, as the initiative marked its 10th commemoration. The acknowledgment honours organizations that create good social effect in Singapore.
Small and medium-sized companies accounted for the majority of receivers, composing 376 groups, or 78% of the overall.
Over the previous 3 years, 1,046 identified Companies of Good have actually jointly contributed almost $384 million in cash offerings, more than $85 million in donations in-kind, and more than 1.1 million volunteer hours.
“Ten years on, Company of Good has already displayed that Corporate Function is significantly becoming an integral part of how organisations develop worth for their stakeholders and the more comprehensive society,” claims Tony Soh, PRESIDENT, NVPC.
This year’s associate consists of 177 Firm of Good– 1 Heart receivers, amongst them Colliers, Fraxtor, Craig Road Property, Ngee Koon, and Momentus Hotel Alexandra.
An additional 113 companies received the Firm of Good– 3 Hearts acknowledgment, consisting of 8M Realty, Banyan Tree Holdings, Far East Orchard, OUE REIT Management and Savills (Singapore).
